Playuela Booklet

Playuela is an informative booklet about one of Puerto Rico’s most recognized surfing spots located on the coast of the Municipality of Aguadilla. The concept is based on creating a connection between Playuela and the viewer, making them fall in love with this little paradise, afterward informing them about the risk it is under. The booklet was designed in an interactive form containing foldouts and cutouts the. The use of bright color palette inspired on Playuela’s ecosystem and photography done by local photographers as well as surfing photographers were used to show their point of view of Playuela and carry the voice of the local community. The paper used for this project is by the company French Paper, made using completely renewable electricity generated by a green hydroelectric plant, giving the best quality paper with a conscious mind of our environment.
